#162   Pansy Duet   ($6.00) Project size-22X22 Silk Satin (or Habotai)

Difficulty-Beginning to Intermediate

I taught this project at Creative Painting in Las Vegas.  The class was so well received it filled 3 times.  It is a vibrant painting but doesn’t have a lot of small or difficult detailing.  The double border adds further interest to the painting.  The small inner border has no salting.  Techniques used are resist, watercolor and salting.

#182    Tulips & Columbine   ($6.00) Project size-12X60 Habotai

Difficulty-Intermediate to Advanced

This is a lovely painting with a lot of contrast between the tulips and the rest of the subject matter.  The tulips are repeated on both ends of the scarf.  Techniques used are watercolor, resist and salting.
